Dear Readers,
The trailer for Season 2 of CBS Elementary has arrived.
Correct me if I am wrong, but most of the clips appear to be from Season 1. Except for the scenes featuring a man being chased by Miller and thereafter being stopped by Liu's Watson and the bomb blast, I have seen all the remaining ones in the first season.
We do not get our first look at Sean Pertwee's Gareth Lestrade or Rhys Ifans' Mycroft Holmes. Well, the season premiere is less than a month away.

I believe you are correct about the trailer mostly being clips from last season. Except maybe the mention of Napoleon in the first clip, however it is probably just slipping my mind at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI am a little excited to see Rhys Ifans as Mycroft since I believe he will do an excellent job in the role.

Thanks James.
DeleteI am looking forward to Sean Pertwee's performance as Lestrade too.

You're right Buddy. Much of the trailer was from previous episodes, but I still excited about the upcoming season.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathleen.
DeleteI too am curious about the continuing adventures of Holmes and Joan, since the first episode of Season 2 is set in London.

No, you are correct. Minus the explosion and Joan taking someone down, they are all clips from Season One. I am looking forward to Season Two but hope that we will get more clips w/Mycroft and/or Lestrade.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rick.

Yeah, a bit odd they only have two scenes that are actually from Season 2. (Not that seeing Lucy Liu/Joan Watson take a man down isn't totally worth the view... ;))
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Lestrade was in this season, too. That's another reason to watch, I guess. I'm praying he's not as bland as Gregson's proven to be. And that Mycroft (and I guess LEstrade, too) can live up to their predecessors...
Thanks Loveable Freak.
DeleteGlad to see Joan doing what Watson always does.
I liked Sean Pertwee's performance in Dog Soldiers. I think his version of Lestrade will be quite charismatic, like the BBC one portrayed by Rupert Graves.
Not sure about Mycroft, as I have not seen Rhys' work yet. May be, he will turn out to be a good casting choice. We will find out soon.
