DeleteThe Sherlock Holmes collection and most of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works have been in the public domain for quite some time now. Check out Project Gutenberg to read these books online for free.
Some unscrupulous publishers have been making some quick cash on them. This is a deplorable practice and not at all fair to the general public and fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I did not know about that. So do you know if the film or TV adaptation rights are in the public domain as well.
