Trailer: Robert Downey Jr. in Call of Duty Black Ops 2

I am not much of a gamer and most probably will not be playing/purchasing this game.

The ad caught my attention due to the fact that it has been directed by Guy Ritchie who also worked with Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Hope they start working on the third Sherlock Holmes movie soon...

  1. Yeah, Call of Duty isn't really my thing, but I love this commercial...

I'm kind of impatient for the new movie, too (I think they're at least starting in 2014). As much as Elementary is growing on me, I'm still suffering withdrawal from the movies and BBC show...

    1. RDJ is having a pretty busy career right now.. Iron Man 3 (2013) and Avengers 2 (2015)...Hopefully production will start in 2013 itself for a tentative release in 2014.. We can only hope :(

    2. I agree with everying said. And the trailer is definitely interesting - it highlights, if anything, Ritchie's love for action.

  2. I saw this trailer as an ad on a video and I was thinking "Is that Robert Downy Jr.?" But I did not know that Guy Ritchie directed it though. After the Iron Man, The Avengers and Sherlock Holmes, Downy is the best actor in Hollywood right now, in my opinion.

    1. I am not sure if he is the best actor, but he definitely is the biggest star in Hollywood right now!

I am just curious, which RDJ's role do you like better - Sherlock Holmes or Tony Stark/Iron Man...

      Cheers!

  3. Well what I ment exactly by "Best Actor" is that he is the biggest and most fun to watch. Always enjoy his performances.
As much as I like his version of Sherlock, I'm a major Marvel comics geek Stark is my favorite role of his. He really owned the role like no other actor to play a comic book character, or at lest since Reeve as Superman.

    1. Agree with you James about RDJ being a fun actor. I too enjoy most of his performances.

As you rightly put, he owns the Tony Stark role pretty much like how Christian Bale and Christopher Reeve did with Bruce Wayne/Batman and Clark Kent/Superman respectively.

      Cheers!
